Newton, Massachusetts
Located on the site of a former church, Lafayette Green’s 8 townhomes were designed to complement the turn-of-the century brick rectory that was renovated as part of the redevelopment effort. The rectory was transformed into a single-family residence that retained the best elements of its Greek revival style. That style is revisited in the traditional exterior design of the single-family townhomes, which offer 2.200 – 3,000 square feet of living space. A park-like setting with extensive landscaping completes this urban oasis. Financed by Middlesex Savings Bank, total development costs were $5.1 million.
