Hudson Heights

Stillwater, NY

Hudson Heights is the new construction of 120 multifamily apartment homes located in the Town of Stillwater, Saratoga County. The Development is the final phase of the Turning Point PDD which has created more than 200 market-rate single-family homes and townhomes by previous developers.

The Development will bring a workforce housing component to the community creating 20 one-bedroom apartments, 60 two-bedroom apartments, and 40 three-bedroom apartments. The Development will serve a mix of incomes between 30% and 90% of the area median income.

Twelve of the apartments will have a special needs preference for veterans with services provided by the Veteran and Community Housing Coalition (VCHC). VCHC will provide referrals and supportive services for veterans living at Hudson Heights. VCHC currently provides services and housing for veterans at five different locations throughout Saratoga County.

VCHC’s current housing offerings are always fully occupied and creating additional dedicated housing for veterans will increase their ability to fully support local veterans. Hudson Heights will consist of 10, two-story buildings, containing 12 apartments per building with one community building. The buildings will be highly energy efficient using all-electric HVAC and water heating.

Hudson Heights will meet NYSERDA’s Tier 3 requirements. At the center of the site will be a generous amount of passive recreation space, equipped with outdoor furnishings, a playground, and a community garden. The community building will feature a community room with a kitchen, fitness center, and management offices.

Hudson Heights is in the Town of Stillwater approximately ¼ mile from the border of the City of Mechanicville. Within a mile of the site are a grocery store, schools, urgent care, a bank, a hardware store, and the public library. The site is also within 1 mile of DeCrescente Distributing Company, one of the largest employers in the immediate area. The site is also within 13 minutes is GlobalFoundries, a microchip manufacturer that employs almost 5,000 people locally.
